Introduction to the Author

I am not new to writing, but I am new to sharing my stories. Publishing had never appealed to me, but I finally decided that my stories are worth being shared. I've created a new world for my tales of excitement and wonder, a place to lose yourself among friends and foe. It's a world I wish I had lived in.

My fascination has always been with werewolves as an independant race with deep roots in mankind's history. They deserve their own mythology and spiritual beliefs. I don't like the idea that it's just a curse that makes a person run around howling under the full moon. Silver bullets? Hollywood poppycock. They are just as mortal as any other creature. I also like to mix things up by adding elves, fae and all the other manner of beast and being that haunt our imaginations. Why not a world where they all exist, if not necessarily in harmony, at least under the same sky? Like our world now. We don't all get along, but we coexist because it's how we evolved. The world in which I've set my stories is a strange Victorian society with one foot in the pagan Earth-bound ways of the elves and one foot crossing the threshold into mechanical technology. It's a familiar tangled web of the old clashing with the new. Add werewolves as a race of people used and abused by humans and the stage is set for an emotional awakening of hearts and souls, of power and violence and of family values.

I hope you will enjoy the people who populate my mind, who have become my companions and will soon become yours.
